What is it about some organizations that seem to keep employees for at least 3-5 years? When employees leave that organization, it's because they got a much better opportunity or other factors, such as family relocation. In a human service business, the employee is often the second income for that family. Job tenure may not be a primary focus for these employees, but a good working environment is.

The organization that retains employees shows that it cares about employees and customers. In other words, it treats all individuals fairly by having clear expectations and adheres to rules for all.
