The Sloan Career Cornerstone Center is a non-profit resource center for those exploring career paths in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and computing.
If you are assisting students who are beginning to consider career options, we hope you'll recommend the Sloan Career Cornerstone Center. This site has been developed to help individuals explore the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. We have included many resources, and an extensive interview database of professionals working in these areas. By exploring the experiences of these individuals you and the students you are working with may gain a better feel for what it is like to be employed in a variety of fields. You'll be able to explore differences between working in large companies, small companies, or being self employed. You can find out more about university options, and explore whether an advanced degree may make sense. And, if you are working with precollege students, there are many recommendations for courses, activities, and projects that may help students move closer to finding out which career path may be best for them.
